Training on Environmental and Social Safeguards Course

INTRODUCTION

Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS) are critical components of sustainable development and responsible project implementation. This training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to manage environmental and social risks in various projects, ensuring that activities do not harm the environment or vulnerable communities. Environmental and social safeguards ensure that projects comply with local and international regulations, protect biodiversity, promote environmental sustainability, and uphold the rights and welfare of affected communities.

This course is ideal for professionals involved in project design, implementation, and monitoring, particularly those working with government bodies, NGOs, donor-funded projects, and international organizations. It covers the principles, policies, and procedures for integrating environmental and social considerations into project planning, execution, and evaluation.
